Kane Brown paid a virtual visit to The Late Late Show With James Corden on Oct. 27. In addition to announcing his upcoming performance for the Salvation Army during halftime of the Washington Football Team vs. Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 26), Kane performed his new single, âWorship You.â
Penned by Kane, Alexander Izquierdo and Ryan Vojtesak, âWorship Youâ impacted country radio on Oct. 26. The new tune is featured on Kaneâs 2020 EP, Mixtape, Vol. 1.
Kane says the sweet song makes him think of both his wife of two years, Katelyn, and their 12-month-old daughter, Kingsley.
ââWorship Youâ is a song . . . thatâs saying that your girl, your wife, is your everything,â says Kane. âYou know that she donât walk on water or anything like that, but you basically praise her. Originally, you know, I was thinking about Katelyn, but then I did this video that I put on my Instagramâit was me, Katelyn and Kingsley, and I was singing it to Kingsley. And I was like, you know, this song could be about my daughter, too. Itâs basically just like worshiping my family now, you know? Theyâre both my girls and Iâd do anything for them. Worship the ground they walk on. I feel like itâs going to be a wedding song.â
