On Sept. 9, Billy Ray Cyrus released his 14th studio album, Thin Line, which features collaborations with a number of artists, including Shooter Jennings, Joe Perry, Lee Roy Parnell and Shelby Lynne.
Today (Sept. 22), Billy Ray released the music video for the albumâs title track, a tune that features vocals from Grammy Award-winning Shelby Lynne.
âShelby came in and just sang her butt off on the first single here, âThin Line,â the title track,â said Bill Ray to Nash Country Daily. âDynamite comes in small packages. She was definitely ready to go, man. She was awesome.â
The video for âThin Lineâ was shot entirely on Billyâs property outside of Nashville and offers viewers a peek into Billyâs southern home as he wanders through the spaces that are filled with memories and the prized possessions that inspire him, including a handwritten note from Johnny Cash in 1992.
âThirty-six years ago I was working with Elvis and saw him take the same kind of flak youâre taking now. Congratulations on the way youâre handling it all. In your case, as in Elvisâ, the good outweighs the bad. Let âem have it. Iâm in your corner.â â Johnny Cash
